Shaina Anderson MA, LMHC, CCTP is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Shaina graduated with Magna Cume Laude from Argosy University, with a Master of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling. Shaina has extensive education, training and experience in the field of trauma and recovery as well as grief and bereavement. Additionally, Shaina is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), EMDR and prolonged exposure therapy. Shaina has over 14 years of professional experience which includes working as a victim advocate with the State Attorney’s Office, providing individual, family and group clinical mental health services in private practice and working with a team of other community mental health counselors and social workers in developing a DBT program. Shaina is a cognitive-behavioral therapist, Qualified Supervisor for LMHC in the State of Florida and the current Clinical Director/Deputy Director for Project HELP, Inc. Shaina also serves on the FGCU counseling department advisory board as well as the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, SW Florida Board in which she holds the position as Treasurer on the executive board committee.
